Energy Design Home Inspections, Inc. of Bloomington, owned and operated by John Sacchini, was incorporated doing heating, cooling, electrical and solar work. Installation, service and repair of mechanical equipment and electrical wiring in new and existing homes was the mainstay of the business.

In 1980, the home inspection business came to fruition at Energy Design Home Inspections. Today John is the experienced home inspector in the real estate field.

A graduate of Ball State University, John was employed by Public Service Indiana in their energy services department. One of John's responsibilities was the training of his employees about home construction in relationship to heat loss/heat gain factors; sizing of heating and cooling equipment; and insulation capabilities.
